Background & Experience
Mr. Sherrod has 25 years of municipal design experience in project management. Of those 25 years, 16 were in the public sector, and nine with ACES. He also has five years of underground utility construction experience. He has managed and designed street improvements, commercial and industrial site developments, planning studies, industrial, residential, and commercial subdivisions, as well as utility and drainage projects. He has supervised land surveying assignments for mapping, right-of-way and easement acquisition, design and construction. Mr. Sherrod also has experience interacting with various state and federal regulatory agencies. He has successfully prepared applications for letters of map revisions from the federal emergency management agency; Coordinated the preparation and submittal of State revolving fund applications; And has been responsible for the preparation of applications and management of Texas department of transportation enhancements and roadways. Mr. Sherrod is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and the Texas Floodplain management Association. He previously served from 1993 until 2002 on the Technical Advisory Committee of the Transportation Policy Council for the Houston Galveston Area Council.
